Juno® TUCLF21 Series, current limiting in-line feeds are a simple solution for complying with stringent energy codes such as ASHRAE 90.1 and California Title 24. These 2-circuit feeds utilize supplementary current limiting circuit breakers that are designed to limit the available wattage to only that required by the actual lighting design criteria. Trac lighting density and performance can be optimized with energy-efficient fixtures, and configuration flexibility can be retained without exceeding code-mandated power utilization limits and incurring watts-per-linear-foot “penalties.”
Designed to be installed at every trac feed location in place of a standard non-limiting feed; not intended to be used as a primary circuit protector In-line feeds can be used to feed trac as 1 electrical circuit in both directions or as 2 separate circuits using 2 current limiters Limits circuit wattage, not the type or number of fixtures used; provides maximum flexibility to accommodate lighting design modifications and layout changes Feed connector and current limiting circuit breaker are specified and ordered separately for maximum configuration flexibility; white, black, or silver finishes Injection-molded, polycarbonate feed cover attaches to heavy-duty, die-formed galvanized steel mounting plate with tamper-resistant screws Surface or J-box mounting; T-bar compatible when fed directly Center knockout enables feeding from J-box to facilitate wiring termination; J-box mounting holes provided The current limiters are single-pole supplementary circuit breakers that limit the current (wattage) that can be consumed on the trac section being fed Supplementary current limiters available in 13 amperage ratings from 0.5-14A; amperage selected based on actual lighting loads UL/cUL Listed; California Title 24 Compliant; ASHRAE 90.1 Compliant
