Glass lenses provide an upscale appearance and higher wattage capabilities for showers and outdoor applications. Opal glass diffusers offer a wide, smooth distribution of light and is the most economical lensed unit. White flat glass diffusers provide uniform general illumination with minimal brightness at the ceiling. Fresnel lenses give a more concentrated light distribution.
